Good morning all. Reading about Meural with a view to buy a couple but could use some user advice and experience please in answering a few questions. Connect to NAS - think the Meural has an RJ45 ethernet connection. How easy is it to connect to a NAS? Say a QNAP home NAS? We have all our photos on this. In an ideal world we could run certain folder(s) of of photos to the device. Automatic Photo Display Size? - Hoping the device can adjust photo to fit display area without black bands etc. Is this realistic? Gesture Controls - I read this was not so robust. Just wandering about you opinion. It's not key for me but maybe updates have occurred since reading these more negative comments. Many thanks in advance

Hi Kevin and thanks for confirming. Not to sound rude but your answers are very closed and miss a lot of my questioning out. It results in a lot of follow up which causes me extra questions and you extra work. Can you see my reasoning looking back through the dialog? I was sort of hoping for support in a more dialog based format rather than just selected closed questions. I'm trying to build confidence and knowledge to invest in two of these expensive devices and continue my considerable investment with Netgear. So good that RJ45 works and will connect to my Netgear network. And I will be able to see the device via my Orbi RBS853 router and windows network? But no reply to my comment about reported poor functionality of the gesture facility. Any updates or advice to improve/ maximise performance? On the storage side, is it limited purely to SD card? USB or SSD are not options in any form? And the SD card limit of 512GB ... is that a tested maximum or just a theoretical maximum? I ask as many times such limits are quoted, it is often possible to go higher but may just not have been tested. Many thanks

Thanks for the links .... will be reading those and no doubt coming back with more questions. But on the point of NAS and RJ45? Can the frame connect to a NAS box? And is there an RJ45 connection on the frame that can be hard wired to the network? These are key decision makers first. If the answer to these is yes and it's easy to achieve then for sure we are ready to place orders. Many thanks

OK no NAS support. Not so good. So can a large SSD device be connected? Say a 2TB Samsung T5? But is there an RJ45 connection and is the device able to connect to a home wired network (all Netgear of course)? Pictures I've seen show yes but a confirmation would be useful and the limitations of usage .... if any. Thanks

The Meural Canvas is a great option for a photo display it can also be linked to photo albums that are updated automatically when photos are added to the linked album. The Meural Canvas also includes intuitive gesture controls for navigation. For optimal results, the format for vertical images: 9:16 ratio, cropped to fit 1080 x 1920. For horizontal images: 16:9 ratio, cropped to fit 1920 x 1080.
