Stuck on setup screen

I’m having the same issue with my Meural Canvas units stuck on the setup screen. Factory reset and re-adding via the app or web didn’t help. One sees WiFi, the other doesn’t, and gestures don’t bring up any menu. Any step-by-step solution for bypassing the frozen setup screen would be appreciated.
