unable to upload any pics onto my playlists neither from my phone, nor from my computer

It is Sept 11 and I have been facing this issue for many days, being unable to upload any pics onto my playlists neither from my phone, nor from my computer.  Acknowleding Netgear's decision not to commercialize Meurals anymore is this issue a confirmation of a permanent lock on future uploads, and moreover a sign that the servers/Meural cloud will be shutdown soon?
