I suggest starting over with original files from the router.
You can manually put the files you can't import files into the correct folder.
Or you can merge everything into the opvn file. This info is useful for that.

I believe VPN Service is useful if we are not home and try to connect to our servers. Is that correct?
Yes. It provides remote access to your home network.
If we are home, can I still have VPN Service enabled without interrupting other connected devices?
You leave the service running on the router all the time.
On the Macbook, you only connect to the VPN when you want remote access.

I am seeing an error in Tunnelblick.
2025-11-28 14:11:45.165940 TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity)
2025-11-28 14:11:45.166061 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed
I am assuming this error is coming from VPN service in Netgear.
