Connecting MR60 to Xfinity Gateway
Ok so bear with me please here.
I have an existing Rodgers xfinity XB7-T and was gifted an MR60 and 3 MK63 satellites.
How on earth do I connect the MR60 to the gateway.
Initial steps I took were to connect via ethernet from the gateway to the internet port of the MR60. Nighthawk App couldn’t allow me to connect.
Tried adding the device in my xfinity app using the MAC address-it shows as a previous connection but won’t add the MR60 as connected
Turned on bridge mode-still didnt work.
I’m sure I’m missing something simple and will smack myself but also PLEASE be gentle. I’m older-not too tech savvy-and just need to figure this out without paying a network engineer to figure it out for me haha

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

I also literally asked for clear help and you used every method of overcomplicating the answer. I can see why people all over the world don't know how to get appropriate tech advice if this is what you give.
Not sure why I even asked if this is the answer given. "Contact your ISP" I literally laid out the exact equipment hoping for an answer for how to work with my EXACT equipment - because I know I am not the only one. but alas - here we are.

The trouble can be that bridge mode means different things if different contexts.
In your case, it is the Xfinity XB7-T that needs to be in bridge (modem only) mode. That turns off the router bit.
