How to setup an MR60 mesh system as a bridge
I got a MR60 mesh system to extend my range of the wifi. I have a Calex Exos router that was supplied by my internet provider. The range does not extend far enough. I bought a MR60 mesh system but I this gives me 2 separate wifis and cant cross connect between the 2. How do I get bridge mode on the MR60? it shows VLAN/Bridge settings but I am lost as to what to do to get it setup from there. I have searched for walk-thru videos on it but have not anything.
Thanks for any guidance!

If you already have a router, then the usual advice is that you should add a second one in Access Point mode. Otherwise you hit this

The "bridge" word can mean many things, depending in the context. If you mean "wireless bridge" between two routers, not all devices support that mode of operation.
I bought a MR60 mesh system but I this gives me 2 separate wifis and cant cross connect between the 2.That's what you will get with two separate routers. It is why they invented Mesh technology. As yet, very few brands and models can create a single mesh network.

I tried to put my modem straight to the MR60 router but it says that it is not connected to the internet. I have to plug it into a TP Link switch and then to the Calix router to get an internet connection. That is what is throwing me for a loop. I am usually pretty good and connecting computers and setting up routers and such but this has me stumped. I have put the MR60 in AP mode but it now shows 2 connections with the same name and I am still not able to get my cameras to cross over them. I connected the MR60 straight to the calix router but the light stays red and there is no internet on the MR60 and I can't connect to it. I am lost on this one!

What is that modem?
What says "it is not connected to the internet"?
When you are playing around with devices, remember to reset the devices and restart the network in the right order:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
