I can sometimes gain access via direct connection to wired ethernet port
I am having the same problem and have had to reset three times now.
It started a couple of months ago. I can sometimes gain access via direct connection to wired ethernet port, but the connection will drop periodically. When it happens, I can see that no IP address is being assigned.
Only a factory reset will restore functionality. The last time i did this, it lasted a couple of months. The last two times, it only lasted a few hours before the problem reoccurred.
DHCP seems to be failing to wired and wireless connections.
The problem is the same with two different modems.
Router:
Netgear MR60
Modems tested:
1. Netgear LM1200
2. T-Mobile 5g Gateway

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.Does the front LED change from BLUE to Amber when this happens?
Can you access the MRs web page at all?
