I replaced the Nighthawk Mesh better known as Netgear Nightmare Mesh w/ an old TP-Link Archer 1200!

I replaced the Nighthawk Mesh better known as Netgear Nightmare Mesh w/ an old TP-Link Archer 1200! Didn’t have to rest a single thing after using same SSID & password on it! Unlike Nightmare Mesh which constantly caused the problem is the 1st place making my life a nightmare at least once a month but more like everything 2 weeks!!

Are you wanting help getting your system going better? Or just venting frustration?

    just checking what you'd prefer.

If you're wanting help, more details are needed.

    1. what model mesh do you have (look at the label)

    2. what firmware is on the router and on the satellites?

    3. what backhaul are you using? (wired/wireless)

    4. what modem/gateway is the mesh connected to?

    5. What actual issue are you having in detail. Just saying it drops isn't enough. What actually happens? It says connected, no internet. IT doesn't broadcast at all? Etc. Details are key.

Also would be good to know What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR and MS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Placement is also key and important.

My MK63 worked great for me when I had it online last year. My MS are ethernet connected for backhaul however.
