Internet keeps dropped - always fixed by rebooting the Main Unti
I have read other threads on this subject and have not been able to find a resolution to my issue. The short version is that every few days (3-4, seems random) my Nighthawk MR60 will drop the internet connection. When this happens it is always resolved by unplugging and plugging the main unit back in. There is never anything in the Logs. This used to happen several times a day but I also noticed some odd log entries in my QNAP NAS around failed logins from my router (I think that was Armor attempting Brute Force attacks). I have since disabled SSH, FTP and all the point to point services on my NAS and the frequency of the dropped internet has gone from 2-3 times per day to once every 3-4 days (not 100% sure that it was causal but the data seems to support that it is). I also disabled the DoS warnings (recommended by Netgear Support), the other suggestion of the Support team was to not plug the main unti into a power strip - which I have not yet tried since it would be a major challenge as my plugs are very challenged where the unti it plugged in.
Unfortunately, I don't usually have a bunch of time to troubleshoot when it is down, since I usually need my internet back up as soon as possible.
Would really appreciate any ideas!
Rob

Ok so something is happening between the Cable modem and the MR. If the front LED is turning AMBER or RED, means the MR isn't getting a good connection to the ONT.
Seems that you have a cable modem that may have a built in router and wifi.
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

Try option #2 first...Sorry about RBS, I meant to change that to MS.
Might try channel 1 or 11 on 2.4Ghz
