Is there a way to force a device to use the satellite of Nighthawk MR60/MS60?

I have a Nighthawk MR60 and MS60 setup. They both use the same network SSID, so I can't connect to one or the other. This works great when roaming, but due to the walls in our modular home, the laptop on the far end gets barely any speeds when connected to the router, so I put the satellite closer and it works great, as long as it connects to the satellite. It doesn't always connect to it, is there a way to force that device to only connect to the satellite?
