Laptop wont see wifi network, but everything else does
So i just set up the system.
and after set up, i turned off the wifi on my bell homehub 3000, and changed the wifi name and pass to the same as the Bell wifi was, so all my devices could connect again without resetting them all.
every single other device reconnected fine. phones, about 9 smart devices and 5 google home devices, the firestick, the wifi reciever, the printer. the ring door bell, an alexa device. 2 tablets. a couple wifi cameras.
literally everything reconnected as if nothing had changed
except one thing... my wifes laptop.
sees all the neighbors wifis (of which there are plenty), but just doesnt show the new network in the available networks>
its REALLY strange.
is this a known bug?
is there a fix?
desperate to fix this before wife comes home from work! lol

oh yeah, i have a MK63 set,
one mr60 in center of hose on 2nd floor
and 2 ms60s at either end of the house on the first floor, all are working 100% on other devices - plemansGuru - Experienced User
What wireless chip is in your wife's laptop?
Many wireless chips had issues with AX when it was first released and didn't "see" the network.
The majority of them were fixed with driver updates for the wireless card. The problem was that most people get their drivers from windows update or from the computer manufacturer (dell, hp, etc). And they rarely have the current driver.
so lookup what card is in the laptop and go directly to that manufacturer's site (intel, broadcomm, etc) and get the driver directly.
That tends to fix most of those issues.

this is the laptop - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/model/NX.HJFAA.007
got the latest driver for wifi from here - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/support-product/7226?b=1
restarted. nothing.
ive been at this for hours. to no avail.
all the stuff that was likely to be a pain was easy on this setup, and the easiest one, isnt working at all. so frustrating.
im ordering a cheap usb wifi adaptor from amazon. just to double check. although windows says theres nothing wrong with my adaptor. and it does see all the neighbors wifi tbh. i havent turned the bell wifi back on, but that test is next. probably tomorrow.
but if it workd with the bell wifi back on, then its definitly something to do with the Nighthawk mesh. will report back tomorrow- plemansGuru - Experienced UserBut what wireless chip is it? Don't get the driver from acer, get it from who made the wireless card
