MK62 — Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System - WIFI SPEED SLOW
I used this mesh system with Spectrum 200mbs package and got nearly the same wifi speed as wired. I've just updated my ISP to TDS 600 max and the wired connection gets 600+ both down and up. WIFI speeds are about 1/3 of this both down and up. WIFI also seems to very a lot during speed tests. I have newer PCs with wifi 6 as well as older (pre wifi 6) devices. This mesh system is supposed to be much faster. I live in a single family home that is approx 2200 sq feet. The main router is on the second floor in the middle of the house, I have a satellite (MK60) unit on each end of the 1st floor. Everything is up-to-date with firmware. I need advice to increase speeds.

It always will be. That's how wifi works.
It might be worth a bit of background reading.

You might get a bit faster speeds connected to the router but not the satellites. Reason why is the dual band systems don't have the dedicated backhaul of the tribands to maintain throughput.
Dong Knows has a pretty solid review on the MK60 set.

Worth the read and a look at the satellite speed versus the router speed.

Thanks to those who replied. I was not expecting such prompt response for such an old product. I will read the link provided. The installer from TDS seemed to think I should be faster. Also...with 200 gb plant I had the same speeds wifi and wired. The good news is 1/3 of 600 gb plan is faster that I will ever need 🙂
