MK63 Loss of config after unplugging power for less than 1 minute
2nd day of using the MK63 system... seems to work very well.
I moved the power adapter from a non-protected outlet to my UPS Battery system. It was unplugged for less than a minute.
After the router unit powered back up, I noted that the LED on the FACE was AMBER and I'd lost access to my WiFi devices. Had to FACTORY reset the unit and setup all my settings once again. After I got every working again, I saved the CONFIG file.
My question to the community is... IS it normal for the MK63 Nighthawk Mesh system to lose it's settings after a power failure?
Although I don't foresee this happening again (now on my UPS), but this would make this a pretty piss-poor design if it loses settings after a power failure. This one thing is keeping me from giving this system a 5-Star rating!

No. Its not typical. I've unplugged my systems numerous times for longer than that without issues.
I usually have people reinstall the firmware then do a factory reset/reinstall. If something was corrupt in the firmware or settings, this clears overwrites the firmware and clears out the setting. Hopefully resolving that. (not always)
- mnzs-blenAspirantLosing thee setting is a big NO and it doesn’t as well even for me as well. You might experience the amber light if in case satellite is placed near to dead zone.
How do you define satellite 🛰️ lost setting ? Any reference or screenshot to it please ?- Lynster141AspirantMnzs-blen,
Hey, I never said the Sats lost config. Just the router node. In fact, they both had Blue led's after the router node went off to never land. However, once I reset the router node to factory settings, both satellite nodes went Amber.
All is up and working right now, but it was very concerning that this occurred after moving the power adapter.
Thanks for your input.
