MK83 firmware 1.1.8.20 problems
MK83 firmware 1.1.8.20 came out yesterday (Dec 1st 2025)
and I find the satellite keeps disconnecting.
Restoring to version 1.1.7.14 fixes the issue.
Anyone else seeing this?

If it helps, running the router on 1.1.7.14 and the satellites on 1.1.8.20 is problem free.

MR80 on 1.1.7.14

I have also had this problem earlier today, the satellite keeps disconnecting

The router first than the satellites (both manually).
All units are separated by more than 30 feet and all was fine initially, but then I started noticing a satellite disconnecting periodically.
Am back on 1.1.7.14 and see no problems and the units make no attempt to update automatically.

MS need to be updated FIRST, then the MR lastly.
A factory reset should be performed as well after new FW has been loaded.

Did you update the MS first then MR lastly?
How was the system updated? Manually or was it Automatic?
Two MS deployed?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR 📡 and MS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
