MR60 of MK63 not connecting to internet (solid orange/amber light)
Hello,
I have a MR60 in the MK63 mesh system that refuses to connect to the internet.
Here are the details:
- Solid orange/amber light on router
- Blue lights on both of the satellites
- Working internet connection (I can connect my PC to the modem directly and have internet)
- When I connect the router to the modem, it does not detect that there is internet (orange light)
- Firmware: V1.1.7.134
What I tried:
- Unplugging/plugging in router
- Unplugging/plugging in modem
- Factory reset on router/modem (mobile setup said there is no internet connection)
- Sync button on router
I have not been able to get anything other than this orange light. All help is appreciated, thanks.

What modem/ONT/gateway sits between the router and the Internet?
I have not been able to get anything other than this orange light. The good news is that the LED isn't pulsing, which would warn of corrupt firmware.

What do you mean by gateway between the router and internet? As in the modem? The modem is a Surfboard SB6141.
Also to be honest corrupted firmware is easier to deal with, this kind of stuff is a pain to diagnose.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
The ISP needs to make sure there is good internet services and signal up to the ISP modem. Something they need to check on. Also that model modem is getting up in age. Maybe time for a newer model motorola modem. I had the SB6121 years ago. Was a good modem for that time.
