mr60 port forwarding issues
ive recently switched to the mr60 mesh system and im trying to port forward a system for a game server. but for whatever reason the mr60 router is just not having it. i know that my system is configured correctly and i should have the correct port open but its just not working. ive had everything working on a tp-link router for years with zero issues so i know its not isp or weird modem or anything of the such. what i might try to do at this point is have my old router setup in between the mr60 and the modem. ive got everything up to date as of this post and the game server is connected directly to the router via ethernet cable. if anything the server its self is a little out of date but im confident that doesn't matter.
any help or advise would be lovely, tried a bunch of guides and nothin is working. or if you know if the mr60 would be happy being essentially an access point and not directly connected to the router, please let me know

Don't worry, it hast it - certainly as long as the MR60 is in Router mode:

Usually consulting the fine documentation helps: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/mr60#docs
Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System Router Model MR60 and Satellite Model MS60 User Manual p.126 ff.
Correct Server LAN IP address in place?
Correct protocol and port configured?
Double-checked the ISP does assign a route-able IP address to your MR60? (Advanced Home - Internet Port - IP Address) - an not a Carrier-Grade-NAT IP Address or Private Internet RFC 1918 Address assigned?
No firewall rules prohibiting access the server LAN IP from the wild Internet?
UPnP enabled, and some unwanted UPnP-configured port forwarding rules in place?
ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > UPnP.

lol, not what i meant by not having it. guess thats local slang or something. ive followed the guides and manuals like the one youve sent and i have the option in the router and have it all setup correctly but its still not working. from the ip to the port to the firewall and already delt with upnp. still not visible to the internet. since someone asked i have a spectrum supplied modem, which ever one they give you for gigabit. its not a combo unit, just modem. is there a known issue with spectrum and netgear stuff? i dont see why tplink would work without issue but not netgear with neither having anything to do with the hardware spectrum supplied. havent had a free day to test having the tplink as the router again, so if i get to that ill leave a note on if that works.
either way thank you for the responses! greatly appreciated! i dont have as much time to tinker as i used to so i might go back to old reliable when given the chance
