MS60 Offline with Blinking White Light
I have an MR60 router with two MS60 satellites. One of the satellites has gone offline and has a blinking white light. I have tried cycling the power. Additional troubleshooting steps are appreciated,...

Was the MR updated recently?
What FW is currently loaded on the MR? Possible the MR was updated with out the MS being updated. FW versions have to be the same for both. The MS should be updated first the MR lastly.
Try connecting the MS via ethernet to the back of the MR and see if it will sync.

FURRYe38 the firmware currently installed on the MR is V1.1.7.132. I have never manually updated the firmware. Apologies if that was something I'm supposed to do regularly. I thought it updated automatically.
I have connected the MS to the MR via ethernet per your suggestion. I pressed the sync button on the MR and the led changed from solid blue to a faster blinking white. I then pressed the sync button on the MS (also tried holding it down for 5 seconds) but the MS led never changed from a slower blinking white, even after the MR changed back to a solid blue light, and the MS in question still shows not connected in the Nighthawk app.
I'll appreciate any other suggestions you might have.

Ya we see sometimes that the auto update doesn't update the MS properly or before the MR.
Do you see the MS in the MRs web page under connected devices and does it report have an IP address there? If so, you can log into the MS web page using the IP address to check it's FW version and if it's not updated, manually update the MS by sending the FW file to the MS directly thru its web page.
Also there is newer FW available as well:
Users reported seeing issues with v.132 so you might want to update to v.134 on the MS first, then MR lastly.

FURRYe38 thanks for continuing to troubleshoot with me. The MS does not show up in the MR iPhone app or web app and does not have an assigned IP address, even when plugged into the MR. As a troubleshooting step, I tried plugging the MR into my ethernet switch, which would theoretically cause it to show up as a device in my overall network map (I use a Firewalla to see all devices attached to the network). Despite flashing lights on the ethernet switch indicating data traffic between the MS and the network, the MS is not getting an assigned IP address and it is not showing up in the overall network map.
Any additional troubleshooting steps are appreciated.

It does, unless you have disabled that feature.
A new version came out two weeks ago.

Maybe it hasn't got to you yet. Or something interrupted it, hence the symptoms you see.

michaelkenward I should clarify the MS being offline with the blinking white light has been the case for about 6 months, I'm just now getting around to troubleshooting, so I don't think it was a result of any recent firmware changes.
Going back to your previous reply, I pushed the reset button on the back of the MS with an audible "click" for at least 5 seconds (I actually held it down for 10 seconds) while it was plugged in. The white light never stopped blinking. Is the led indicator light supposed to signal a change and then reboot when performing a factory reset?
