My MR60 Drops connection very frequently

Hello Netgear,

My #MR60 is dropping connection very frequently (almost 2-3 times/hour). My WebEx keeps disconnecting

I have read other support queries, I have tried giving static IP to 2 of my sattelites and few of my devices as well.

But that also didn't solve the issue. I also tried using different channels but the same connection issues are still there.

It has been more than 3 years and recently in the last few years the connections issues are very predominent.

Can someone please help, I am really tired of Netgear product. My last Nighthawk was slow for no reason (if I speed test everything looks good, but normally it is slow). I am really frustrated now.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

What devices do you have all connected? Wired and wireless...

How many MS do you have deployed as well?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR and MS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz. Im using 1 and 40 here.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

      Thanks for your response.

      The details are:

      Firmware Version V1.1.6.122_2.0.58

Verizon Fiber and from their base modem I have a RJ-45 cable to MR60 router. There are no other modems involved. The speed of Verizon is 300mbps+ consistently when I do speed test.

I can buy CAT6 and try.

I have 2 MacBookPro, 3 other windows laptops, 3 iPhones, 2 TVs, bunch of other amazon/google devices connected (25 total but not all at a time).

I have 2 MS deployed. My home is 2100 sq ft but I have 3 floors. Technically, I don't need 2 MS deployed cause I don't have to cover width, and I guess 3 floor height is covered well. I even tried with no MS deployed. With or without MS deployed I am getting connection drops. My main MR60 is on the first floor, 1 MS on 2nd floor and the other on 3rd floor. I guess the distance between them would be say 20-30 feet. I kind of put them in the farthest corner of the floor.

5ghz was set to 153 earlier, I shall try 48 now as there is no AUTO option for me.

2.4ghz was set to AUTO earlier, I shall try 1 now.

There are two more homes nearby so 2 more wifi connections.

I see the following, please let me know if that is what you meant.

Thank you very much for your help!
