Nighthawk MK63 - can I connect the satellites via Ethernet (not wireless)?

I am considering purchaisng the Netgear Nighthawk MK63 pack (One router and two satellites) ;-I dont have the budget for Orbi. I've googled for an hour or so and read the installation and user manua...

    Thanks PLemans, you truly are a guru. ONe final questions if I may - if I want to connect both the Satellite, can I introduce a gigiabit switch between the router and both the satellites ?

    ie : 

    Router -> gigbabit switch ---> Satellite 1

                                           ---> Satellite 2

     

    Will that should work ?

      I've done it with the orbi setup but I don't have the MK series to try it out. 
      I don't see why it would cause issues. 

      maybe Christian_R could confirm.
