Nighthawk MK73 - AP Mode Satellite won't sync
I have a Nighthawk MK73. So first unit MR70 was configured in AP mode, when i'm trying to add satellite MS70 that is connected via ethernet cable it won't sync always get satellite timeout on the M...
why??? MR70 is in Operation Mode Access Point so there is no any reason to have satellite connected to MR70
both MR70 and MS70 are connected to Mikoritk with both ports in the same bridge
For the MS to work correctly, router or AP mode, ANY MS has to be connected behind the MR serially, not in parallel with the host router. MK and Orbi systems are designed this way. How the MESH traffic works on these systems.

There is no reason why it should be like that. Why if both MR and MS get ip from MIkrotik.
And what if i want to connect both MS via ethernet but MR70 has only one ethernet port.And even in URL you provided it is showed as it will work in star topology.
That is the right topology. And if you connected the MS in that configuration, then your MR would be connected to the host router using the MRs Yellow WAN port. The yellow WAN port IS needed to connect to the host router while in AP Mode. I've had my MK systems in AP mode as well before in this configuration it works. Give it a try.
Ya, The MR has limited ports. So get a NON Managed LAN switch in between the MR and MS as shown in the picture. I have several on hand and all work well.
NG GS-105/108v4 and GS308v3, D-Link DGS-105/108 and HP ProCurve 1400/1800 series switches work for MK systems.

it worked, i just switched uplink on MR70 from yellow internet port to lan port, now both works MR70 and MS70.
it's a bit weird why it not works using yellow port as i enables AP mode, might be some security enabled on that port.
