Nighthawk MS60 Renaming Not Working

I recently picked up a MR60 router / MS60 satellite bundle on clearance from Walmart for $80 the other day. I figured for the price, it was time to upgrade my old Nighthawk router. Additionally, they were brand new and still sealed, so I don't suspect my current issue is hardware related. Since I was upgrading from an older Nighthawk router, the ecosystem was very familiar during the setup and I found pretty much all of the settings I needed/wanted to change.

Unfortunately, there is still one final issue that I cannot seem to resolve. How do I rename each satellite device?! I have tried researching it, and it appears to be an ongoing problem with users that have this and other variants of these Nighthawk routers. I have also triple verified that I am running the latest firmware on each device. I did pick up a 2nd MS60 satellite unit and was able to sync it up just fine, but I cannot rename it either. Eventually I plan on adding a 3rd MS60 to get a full blanket of coverage throughout my house and garage. Which is why I want them each named uniquely. I also assign an IP address based on the MAC address of each device for further identification.

Basically, I have been able to change the name of each device, but only while using the iOS app for my iPhone. However, almost as soon as I exit that screen, the name reverts right back to the stock one. I have attached photos of this process. I have not found a way to change names from a web browser either. I have connected directly to each satellite unit and the main router, but do not see a renaming option. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

What firmware version do you have on the device?

A number is more useful than "the latest". (It may not be by the time people read this.) There can also be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.

It might also help if you told people what the modem is in front of this router, if there is one. The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?

The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.

I'd have to put my MK63 back on to check however when I got mine last year, I think I was able to change the MS names using the web browser I believe. MS-Edge. I know the NH app should work as well. You do have to make sure that you select the SAVE button to ensure it saves the change. I only changed the last couple of characters on mine, Satellite-DR and Satellite-BM.

Every time I have tried to change the name through the app, I have hit save at the end of the attempt. It made no difference. I suppose I could find an Android device and try that version of the app to see if it makes any difference.

I logged into the router and satellite units earlier and the firmware on all 3 devices is V1.1.7.134_2.0.65. I will attach some screenshots as well.  As for my cable modem, I am using a Netgear branded one. However, I don't recall the exact model at this moment. I can get this info if you think it is necessary. What I can tell you for certain is that it is a stand-alone modem and has a single ethernet jack to connect into my router.
