Nighthawk MS60 won’t reconnect after power outage
Why does my Wi-Fi not connect after certain power failures? I am away from home a lot and at least twice now (not all the time), my router restarts fine after a power outage, my Netgear mesh boots up and shows blue status, but it won’t connect. I have to disconnect the internet in cord, power down, reconnect internet cord, power up to get the mesh hub to reconnect.
Is this common for all wifi/mesh systems?
if so, how can I prevent it?
I need my Wi-Fi to work when I’m away!

The MR60 router won't connect to the modem?
When the power dies, can you access the MR60 using Anywhere Access?
Power cuts usually take out both modem and router on a network. When the power comes back on, they may start up in the wrong order, with the router starting before the modem is ready. The router can time out before the modem connects.
It may help to reboot the whole network in the right order.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
This isn't easy when you are not there to manage the startup process.
If power cuts a regular event, you may need to install a "UPS" to maintain power.

Any progress on this?
