Tesla wall connector and 2.4ghz network

I have a mesh MR90 network and I’m trying to connect my Tesla Wall Connector to it. The wall connector only works on 2.4ghz networks. I don’t have Smart Connect nor a way to turn off 5&6ghz radios. When are my options?  Everything else in

    There is no need to "turn off" any signals.  A device with only a 2.4G radio chip will detect only the 2.4G WiFi signal.  Just follow the directions.  Please post a link to the directions you are following and indicate at which step you are having a problem.
