weird non-connection issue with MK60 mesh system

so i am using this app-
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details...
on this phone -
https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-note9/specs/
on this router -
https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/mesh/mk62/
which is connected to this modem (with the wifi shut off on it) -
https://support.bell.ca/inte.../products/home-hub-3000-modem
and i am adding the URL provided by the app as a browser source in my OBS studio app on my windows 10 PC.
which is something i have done before with out issues before i added the nighthawk mesh system.
i am at my wits end, i cant figure this out.
also, there is over a dozen or so devices connecting to the wifi just fine, so its not he wifi itself...
PS before i added the new router, the apps worked fine when i used the bell modems wifi. so this is def a networking issues with the new setup đŸ™
also, the phone is connecting to the wifi just fine. i have mobile data turned off, and i have streamd to twitch multiple times over the wifi recently, AFTER adding the new router. so its not that im not connected to wifi
Ive tried this with a number of different wifi cam apps btw, including streamlabs, livedroid obs, camerafi, ip webcam, ip phone cam, etc. all have the same issue of not showing up in OBS.

if i turned my wifi back on on the bell home hub, would this become a different issue?

  • so someone from one of the IPcmas apps ive been trying to use sent me this after a little back and forth -
    "Hi,

it looks like your Ethernet and WiFi are not routed together, that's why you can't reach the phone.
The mask is probably 255.255.255.0 and you can't reach 192.168.1.x from 192.168.2.x.
There's a missing configuration somewhere in the router that should act as the gateway and find the path from a network to the other.
Is your PC's network configured in DHCP? Is the gateway specified?
On the phone I guess you are working in DHCP, that is the 'normal' WiFi configuration in Android, If so, the gateway is set automatically.
To check the connection, please open the terminal 'cmd', then enter the command 'ping 192.168.1.23'."

is that enough for anyone to help me?
  • and here is my network (minus the wifi connections which are many)
