Wireless printer compatible with Netgear Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System

I just installed Netgear Nighthawk MK63 AX1800 Mesh WiFi 6 system to solve my WiFi issues I has having thru-out my house.  Now my old HP wireless printer will not connect dispite everything I have tried.  Is there a wireless printer out there that I can easily install & continually work with this WiFi system?

Not a very detailed description of that device.

"will not" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

How many people on this planet, would you say, have any idea what
"everything I have tried" actually entails?  Or what "will not connect"
    means to you?

Everything other than your printer works as expected?

Is the problem getting the printer to communicate with the router, or
getting some (unspecified) computer/device to communicate with the
    printer, or what, exactly?

Not knowing why your (unspecified) "my old HP wireless printer" is
not working, I wouldn't hazard a guess.  I wouldn't bet that any other
    printer would do any better.

You might start at hp.com, get the instructions for your printer,
    resd them, and follow them.

If _I_ repeat all _my_ questions and suggestions, do you think that
_I_ will get a better response?

  • When you change routers you may need to download the printer software from their site and do a new install. That fixes a lot of issues like yours.

      Spot on there.

If a printer works with one wifi router, there is a high probability that it will work with a different router. You just have to set it up properly. And as labatt says, you need to do it afresh.

The usual way to fix wifi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.

      This may be useful:

Installing HP wireless printer software | Wireless Printing Center | HP® United Kingdom

The router just broadcasts wifi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address, that affects what the printer gets up to.

Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.

For answers related to the MK63 try its own section.

Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
