Can't setup Google home on XR700 — Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router

Hi,

 

I can't setup my Google home. I am able to start the setup steps to connect my Google home to my wifi network, it finds it and each time makes it to the final setup step and fails, on the Google Home help page it suggests 'Disable Access Control' and 'Allow guests to see each other on my local Network'. I have enabled the second and can't find the first.

 

This was not an issue with my previous router and any research for solutions has not offered any clear solution.

    In wireless settings disable Smart Connect and try to detect it to either 2.4 or 5GHz and see if that resolves it.

      I actually did a factory reset on my Google home devices and that worked, It seems they kept some sort of connection to the old router setup even when removed and re-installed.
