do i need a qos network switch to work with my XR500

Hello,

Ive currenty got the nighthawk XR500 as i wanted a QoS router to enhance my gaming. ive just got a PC, im looking to buy a network switch so i can plug the ethernet from my xbox into it, then back out the switch to my xbox and PC. do i need to 

buy a network switch that supports/has QoS or can i just get a basic switch?

    I would recommend you just get a basic/dumb switch as the XR500 will be handling the QoS. Adding something else that does its own QoS could you cause more issues.
