Downgraded firmware to stabilize Xbox LAN-connection - Now I have an old firmware...

Hi guys,

So I experienced, like many others, that the Xbox always seemed to lose connection to the XR500-router via LAN. I had the newest V2.3.2.114-firmware, but after searching a bit I found the following hotfix firmware thread:

https://forum.netduma.com/topic/28523-new-xr500-hotfix-firmware-for-drop-outs/

After applying the hotfix all my Xbox-LAN-disconnecting-problems went away.

This means I'm now running a hotfix/firmware (V2.3.2.40) that's about 2 years old now.

When scanning for newer updates it looks like this:

Current Version: V2.3.2.40-C424a

New Version: V2.3.2.114

Release Notes:

[Security Fixes] Fixes security issues.
[Security Fixes] This firmware fixes security vulnerabilities.
[New Feature] Support France Free and Orange ISP of the IPTV configuration.
[New Feature] Support GUI login weak password protection.
[Bug Fixes] Fixes security vulnerability issues.
[Bug Fixes] Fixes the issue that cannot detect and prioritize game traffic of Fortnite
[Bug Fixes] Fixes the issue that in traffic prioritization, it can't detect "league of legend" traffic and some other pc games, such as Apex Legend, Monster Hunter and Rainbow Six Siege.
[Bug Fixes] Fixes the issue that the speedtest download speed result will be limited at 500Mbps.

One would think it would be nice to stay up-to-date with the mentioned fixes and features.

But I can't update. Not if I don't want the unstable Xbox LAN-connection to return.

Does this mean I am forever doomed to be using an older firmware?

Is there perhaps a hotfix-version, adressing the Xbox LAN-connection issue, for the firmware V2.3.2.114 ?

I will be very grateful for any help!
