Issue with content filtering
Have the XR1000, trying to block you tube but not having any luck. Can access it from all devices. I added the rule, tried to hit site after I applied it and it was still active, then also tried after a reboot. I mean seem pretty straightforward, is this any known issue for this site? Could this be because I use cloudflare dns? Would not think that would have anything to do with it, even tried to just block Facebook for fun and still able to access it.
OK, that might work as a good work around until NETGEAR can release a fix for their Content Filtering feature. Perhaps if you let us know your use case we can help you fine tune it a little further? For example, if you're trying to stop a particular device accessing YouTube after a particular time in the evening you could implement that to.

As far as I'm aware there's a known issue with Content Filtering not working, though it's a features of NETGEAR's settings and here at Netduma we don't have control over their settings.
Could you try adding a new rule to traffic controller for the device you want to block, then select 'Media' from the categories menu and see if that works better?
- I am able to block all media with that option. It is the content filter that seems to not be working like it should. I flip the media rule a d nothing works for streaming wise.
