Net gear xr500 trouble getting better ping in call of duty

Question

Hi i purchased the xr 500 yesterday but no matter what i have tried i cant seem to be getting better ping matches. I live in quebec montreal i currenrly have bell fibe with hub 2000(modem) and im able to get 30 to 50 ping constant just with that set up on wi fi.. I tried stetting up my xr500 to be able to get in the ranges of 15 to 30 ping/laytency consyently but some how makes my ping worse ....does any one have any help with tweaking the dumaOS from qubec to achive better ping? If plz so let me know and thx !!!
