Netgear nighthawk pro gaming xr500 problems with Fortnite?
So I've been having issues with Fortnite connectivity for a couple months now. I recently purchased the netgear CM1000 docsis 3.1 modem with a nighthawk xr500 router to try to give a more stable internet connection. My setup includes a wired connection from these devices to my ps4 pro, yet I still frequently get a red X on the top of my screen letting me know that I'm about to freeze or lag. This purchase did slightly improve this problem, yet nowhere near where it should be at. I have Qos enabled, geo-filtering enabled, port forwarding specific to the PS4 and fortnite, and gave DNS servers for the PS4 to follow. I don't know what else to do. What's worse is that my ISP says that my internet is in perfect shape. We pay for 100 down and 10 up. I even went to DSL reports where my internet got A+ across the board, which makes absolutely no sense. I thought maybe my PS4 was messed up, but that works fine in other places that aren't my home.
I'm no expert in this stuff, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just tried it and I had a tremendous improvement in stability and connection. Where do I go from here? Does this mean I'm having an issue with my router?
Thanks
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerNo not necessarily, likely means that you need to fine tune the settings on the router more. Start with these optimal settings guides and let us know how you get on after that: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
