nighthawk XR1000 geo filter not working!!!!

I picked a netgear XR1000 up 3 days ago and the geo filter has only worked once. I'm from the UK and wanted to play on American servers and it won't let me move servers again it's like the geo filter isn't even working. It just pings at the usual low pings so I know it isn't even on the American servers now. I'm close to just getting a refund after paying top money for this and going back to my asus router. The geo filter when it worked the once pinged at 100+ from start so I knew it worked but now it doesn't even act like it's on. I've tried back dating the firmware and turning qos on and off, refreshing the clause multiple times, hard reset and multiple reboots.

Take a look at the bottom of this guide: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter

it will let you know how to allow your friends so that you can connect to them when you are using filtering mode. Could you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter when you see the server outside your radius please? Then I can best advise.

    What browser are you using?

Please take a screen capture of what your seeing.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200

GeoFilter is working for me however I'm in the USA:

Hey man, is there anything I can discuss this further with you on like discord? I'm currently not at home so I won't be available today.
  • Try this:

    Quit the application/game/client completely
    Remove device from the Geo-Filter
Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC)
Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
Set up the Geo-Filter how you like (Ping Assist has to be set to 0 which it sounds like yours probably isn't which is why you're still getting low pings)
    Wait 2 minutes
    Boot up application/game/client

Then see if it works better.
