Nighthawk XR300 2.4g and 5g merge

Is there any way to merge 2.4g and 5g on the Netgear Nighthawk XR300? I've seen someone be able to do this on a XR500 but i'm not sure if it's possible or not on this model. The firmware version is 1.0.3.38_10.3.30 if thats needed.

    Smart Connect (the feature that allows this on the other XR routers) isn't available on the XR300 unfortunately.
