nighthawk XR700 can`t seem to connect

Hi, I have swapped my Plusnet router for Vigor 130 modem and the XR700.

I connected them and all the relevent lights are lit, but when I try to set it up I get stuck at "trying to connect to internet"

I tried the auto option and the pick from list, only there is no list.

what am I missing ?

    Do you know if you require PPPoE or VLAN with Plusnet? Try and just go through the wizard without internet and then in Internet Setup change the settings that you may need such as PPPoE.
