No Internet After Reboot
I've notice that my XR500 can't seem to find an Internet connection when it reboots. Whether I perform the reboot (and reboot of modem) or after a power failure. I learned a little trick that if I unplug the WAN cable from the router and plug it back in it seems to find the Internet. But why do I have to do this extra step. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue. I am running the most current firmware btw.

Can you explain static details? I receive my IP from my ISP via DHCP.

Take a look at the automatic details, do they change every time you reboot? If not, you could just copy those details in and make them static.
