Odd router bug. (Nighthawk XR700)

Hello, I'm new to these forums, so I hope this is the right place to post this.

Here is my issue.  Every day, my router (Nighthawk XR700) "disconnects" itself.  The reason for the quotations is because it does not entirely stop working.  It seems that only certain things stop working.  For example, my phone and tablet will connect to the WiFi, and things like Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, work fine.  But other things like YouTube, Discord, Twitter, Zoom, do not work.  Also, it seems that any wired devices stop working.  My Playstation 4, Xbox, Apple TV, which are all connected via ethernet cables, stop working and lose internet.

Logging into the DumaOS, and rebooting the router fixes it, and then everything connects fine and starts working again for about 24 hours or so.  Unplugging the router and plugging back in again also fixes it.  But, it's been doing this every single day, sometimes more than once.  I thought that maybe updating the firmware might be a way to fix it, but, whenever I go to update the firmware, it tells me that I have the most recent firmware update already installed (V1.0.1.38.)

This is only a recent issue.  It's been happening for maybe a week or so.  I've had the router for a few years already, and have never had an issue like this before.  Like I said, rebooting temporarily fixes it.  But, it's a bit annoying having to do that every day.

I've seen other threads of people having similar problems, but with different routers than mine.  Some have said that disabling the traffic meter fixes it, adjusting the NTP settings also works because Daylight Savings Time causes some bugs.  But I wanted to make a post with my specific router, just to get some suggestions before I go and change any settings.

Sorry, for such a long post.  I tried to give as much detail as I could so that someone might have some ideas, because I'm at kind of a loss here.

  • What is the modem/router that the XR is connecting to? Is it a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?

The modem is a pure modem, no wifi. My modem is a Netgear Nighthawk CM1000.

Okay that could be why, do you know how often your public IP renews? If you could contact the ISP to extend the lease it would help while NG are looking into the issue.
