Ping issues in gaming
So my problem has been so for a while now I have just figured out simple ways to deal with it for the time being. For the past year I've had another netgear wifi adaptor that worked fine for the most part (I would occasionally get ping spikes once a week or so but in league of legends where my ping would go from 38 to 350+ and I would fix this by unplugging the adaptor and plugging it back in) but as of recently it just starts to jump up from 38 to 100+ whenever I play any game. I didn't really know how to fix it other than things like reset my router or unplug it and plug it back in so I decided to get a new one as of today. I was having perfect ping for about 30 minutes then I start to get random ping spikes in league of legends and PUBG that disconnect me from the game or just bring the games ping to 350+. My ms in game also sometimes just stabalizes at 120 but when I test my latency via command prompt using the command "ping google.com" my ping comes back as 17.
