XR1000 having problems with Playstation 5 in Rest Mode

Hello,

Just curious if anyone has any ideas about what could be causing a potential issue with my XR1000 and my Playstation 5.

My XR1000 has no connection issues with my console when it is turned on, never had a single D/C or any sort of slowdown.

The weird thing that is happening, is when I put the console into Rest Mode, it should be able to automatically download and install updates, but it doesn't seem to want to do it. It will only start up an update when I wake the console up from being in RM. I have all the console settings enabled for it to stay connected to the internet during RM, and for it to automatically download and install updates, but it's almost like the console isn't talking to my Router at that point, it only starts the downloads when the console is started up.

I can use the Playstation Remote App to begin a download remotely whilst it is in RM, and that works fine, it will start the download and install it for when I wake it up, but anything to do with it doing it automatically, it doesn't seem to want to trigger.

Console is connected via Ethernet, I'm just wondering if I have some niche setting turned on that limits connectivity via a wired connection when the device isn't being actively used?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'd be surprised if it is a Sony issue, as it was happening with my standard PS5 before I upgraded to the Pro recently.

I had a read through of this earlier and alot of people facing the same issue, but nobody seems to have any definitive conclusions on what might be causing it.

Try disconnecting the ethernet and connecting it via WiFi instead, does it work better then?
