XR1000 latency issues
Hello, seems I´m out of support so I have to post here to help any help with my Netgear product. Ok, I have a XR1000 with the latest firmware and lately is getting weird. When I use my phone connected to the same WIFI network that my PC and put something to use the network in the phone, I'm getting a LOT of latency in my PC. And I taking about 60ms to get to the router, sustainably until I shutdown the WiFi from the phone. The use in lightweight, YouTube for example, or videos from TikTok, nothing heavy. If I use a different network in my phone (2.4ghz) and my PC stays in the 5.8, this doesn't happen.
I have restarted all the devices.
Do you have any clue?
Read the thread then. I already did that you have been saying.
Also, the issue is no longer there now. I have to change the channel to 161. I do not know how a 300usd equipment cannot handle this things automatically.

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerThis is what QoS is designed to prevent happening, how have you setup QoS exactly? Could you provide a screenshot of the QoS page?

Thanks for reply. But this is not a QoS issue. I´ve never turn it on and always worked "fine". Now if the mobile is consuming 14 Mbps and have this rage latency issue for many seconds. I have 300 Mbps available. Is not a bufferbloat issue.
Also, the router is not getting the real IP for each device, so, I have 2 devices connected but the router just see 1. This issue, not like the original, always happened. Its a shame that 300 bucks router cannot be able to determine which devices are connected to it.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerThere is no other reason I can think of why one device using the internet causes another to lag other than that, could you try it to see if it does help?
Is there an unnamed device on the Device Manager that shares the IP of the device?

Well, the most annoying issue that I have right now is the extreme jump in spike with the latency to the router from my PC when I use the phone. We are taking about 5 Mbps that my phone use and the latency jumps from 1ms to 80ms.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerYou didn't answer the previous questions. That does sound like a QoS issue, could you provide a screenshot of that page please?

It´s the same. Auto on, always on or off. The same behavior.
