XR1000 router is preventing Citrix Receiver app from launching.
This is a strange issue and reproduceable on multiple PCs on my LAN. I have a computer that uses a VPN client to connect to work network, and the local PC connects using RDC to a PC at work. From the remote PC, the Citrix Receiver application opens, and should launch applications, but does not from home. At work (not RDC), the apps launch fine; a coworker is able to launch the apps when RDC from home; the apps launch when the local PC is connected to a phone hotspot instead of the router. So the router is somehow causing the virtual application on a remote PC to fail to connect. I don't know why or how, but I need a resolution.

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NightHawk Gaming Router products. Thank you.The Nighthawk pro gaming router do have build security from BitDefender and other security features called net armor. Chances are high that it is blocked there. The traffic controller can block it. Did you create any blocking rules? How to configure armor you find in the manual starting from page 91. In addition, could you please quickly confirm if disabling QoS completely from the three-line menu in Congestion Control solves the issue? We have seen on some occasions that it can block certain services, this may be an example of this issue.
