XR1000 Setup help & tips!
So I recently upgraded to spectrum gig internet and was recommended the Xr1000. I don't have knowledge about network stuff I don't know how to ask questions nor if im asking the right questions, so...

While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge. You are asking fr detailed thoughts on a specific range of upmarket routers rather than the bog standard General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk and Non-Orbi) things covered here.

Gaming routers have their own DumaOS operating system that is nothing like the one on Netgear's standard routers.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
