XR450 - Upload causes firmware to crash
Hi, I have a XR450 which crashes when I try to upload large quantity of files and/or a large file to OneDrive. This is consistent behaviour and I had to move to another room's access point which is a router of another make for my uploads to work. I was backing up about 275Gb in total and this never worked on the XR450. The router is on the latest firmware. Anyone faced this and managed to find a solution?

How longs has it been going on?
Did you try a factory reset and reinstall (without using a backup)?
When you say crashed, does it cause it to reboot?
Are you uploading over wireless or over a wired connection?

Hello, I have this problem for the past week or so, since I been trying to move my content from one laptop to another via one drive (only option for me since it is a work laptop). I got it sorted out by using a different router in my living room but still want to try to get to a stable version of FW for this XR450. I did not reset my router and have not tinkered with any of its settings or throttling etc other than putting it into AP mode.
When I say crashed, it takes out the router functionality completely, no device can connect to the SSID and a wired NVR connected to it also becomes inaccessible. I have to power cycle it for it to work again. the router homepage also becomes inaccessible.
Uploading is over wireless.

I've seen large uploads over 5ghz cause issues on other routers but not on the XR series. Curious.
Glad you got it taken care of but still a curiosity. If you run into again, I'd try re-installing the firmware to the router and doing a factory set.
