XR500 + EX8000 not reaching gigabit speeds

As stated in the title, I’m not reaching anywhere near my gigabit speeds. I have Xfinity and pay for 1000 down and 20 up. I get 20 up but only around 400-500 down. Is there something that I’m doing...
