XR500 and 2 gbps?
Hey guys. I got a XR500 and my current internet speed is 100mbps. In a few weeks, I should be able to have access to 1gbps download and 600mbps upload. Right now, I have my default ISP router connected via ethernet to my XR500 WAN port.
When I get the 2gbps and they change the default router, will I be able to get a ethernet capable of higher than 1gbps and connect it to the XR500?
Thanks

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerThe XR500 only supports gigabit WAN so you would not be able to achieve more than 1gbps. If you want to have higher than 1gbps WAN then you could opt for the XR700 instead which allows this.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I just found out that I will actually be able to get 10gbps. Are there any netduma routers with 10g WAN? What's the maximum on the xr700?
Thanks
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerThe XR700 is the only one that could support 10g WAN, you can find out some more information here: https://kb.netgear.com/000060606/How-do-I-set-up-my-10G-SFP-port-for-WAN-on-my-NETGEAR-Nighthawk-XR700-Pro-Gaming-Router
