XR500 Device not listed
Hi All,
I’m in need of some help with my XR500. I connected an iPhone SE that doesn’t have cellular connection, but can use the Wi-Fi and is not showing up in device manager. The iPhone shows that it is connected to my 2.4ghz (from the settings in my phone) and doesn’t have issues with the Wi-Fi. I have many devices listed in my network connections, I can see them, adjust the settings, etc. This one device will not show up.
I have scoured the Internet and this forum to no avail. It appears that no one has had this issue or maybe I’m not asking the right question.
I appreciate any and all help!

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerIt's probable you have Private Mac Addresses enabled for the WiFi on your phone (it's enabled by default), the router will read this as a different device every time the MAC address changes. I would recommend disabling that, then check the IP the phone has on the phone itself then look through the devices on the Device Manager on the router to find the IP that matches. That will be the device and you can rename it. As you'll have disabled Private Mac Address you shouldn't have the issue again.
- MrskearneyAspirantI’ve already tried that with no luck. Neither the device, ip or MAC address is listed.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerWhat is the IP you're seeing on the phone itself? - It's a local IP so perfectly safe to post
