XR500 Has reduced Bandwidth by half?
I just bought a new XR500. Plugged it up, hooked everything up. Used the quickstart guide, I renamed my wifi networks ( So I have two seperate names for my 5ghz and 2.4ghz )
Except now if I plug my PC directly into my modem, i get the expected 24megabits a second. If i connect my router to it... 8.
Why is cutting my bandwidth by 2/3rds? I do not understand. Any help would be appreciated. I have disabled QOS while testing trying to figure this out to no avail. I've restarted the modem . Updated it to whatever the latest version when I told to check and it said updates were avaiable.
1 more thing. When I told it to run the connection test its detecting the full 24.5mbs I have... My internet speed is already abysmal. I need as much bandwidth as I can get.

- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerHow did you disable QoS, by selecting the option in the Anti-Bufferbloat settings menu? Sometimes with a new router it can take a little while to sync with the ISP modem. You can speed this up by setting the router MAC address to the previous router MAC address in Internet Setup.
