Xr500 usb

Question

I have two xr500 and I use one in AP mode. I have flawless wifi in my house. But in regards to the USB that’s plugged into the main xr500, how do I access this on my IOS phone. Netgear genie had a good function but nighthawk seems to lack it

So I worked this out (sort of). Instead of using http:// i did some extra reading and changed that to smb://This allowed connection and found my USB. However!! Clicking on the main folder to open to contents of the USB it doesn’t load. All of this is on an iPhone 11 Pro.

It sure is. Both PC and Mac and easily transfer things to and fro. Like I said, netgear genie was great for this, but the “upgraded” nighthawk app lacks it.
I tried through the files app too (as suggested in that article). No luck there. Hopefully netgear bring back this function

Just to double check, did you use the server &amp; user details from the ReadyShare page when trying to access using files?

If you disable admin login for that so that no login is required at all does that allow it to load?
