XR500 Will Not Update Firmware

Quickly, I am not new to networking/routing or devices used in these fields. But I have been working on this issue for over a year on and off as I had time, but I would really like to resolve this.

I like DumaOS but am currently on version 1.0.0.?

No matter how many times, no matter which way I try, the firmware on this will not update.

Manually through admin - browse - upload is not working. It looks like it is working, spins for a few moments then stops and does nothing. Rebooting shows nothing, OTA does nothing (says it's up to date).

Any help is much appreciated, and even if this involves commands or otherwise please let me know.

    What browser are you using? Try a MS Edge, FireFox or Opera.

     

    Try loading a intermediate FW version, v2.0.0.28?

    Good questions above, that'll be useful to know.

    How are you trying to update the firmware? Are you doing it manually by downloading the firmware file from support.netgear.com, then uploading it to the router? Or are you trying to use the router's auto-update functionality?
