XR500 Xbox One X issue
I was previously running off wireless for my Xbox one X, but then ran into lag issues (which I blame the Xbox wifi card for). I finally then ran a cable to my xbox (100ft away), and it seemed to work until I turned the xbox off, then went to turn it back on again (with instant on enabled). I read the article here: https://kb.netgear.com/000060532/How-do-I-fix-disconnection-issues-with-my-Xbox-One-console-when-connected-to-Nighthawk-Pro-Gaming-router but would rather not have to turn instant on feature off, since it would drive my wife nuts. Is there any beta firmware I could try? Or would a Gigabit switch in between my Xbox and the XR500 solve it? Thanks!

The Instant ON feature bug is a MS issue. Not a router FW issue.
You would need to talk to MS about what your seeing with it enabled. It's recommended to disable it.
Ah Figures it was MS... Do you know if the Insider Aplha Xbox releases fixes this issue? I'm hoping to try a switch in between to see if that fixes it.
I don't know for sure. My roommates box is on the Preview program. His is disabled however I can check to see. Something i'll try this weekend.
