XR700 DUMA OS not loaded (TELNET)

Thanks to all who have contributed to this topic on other posts. Re: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R9000-AD7200-x10-Firmware-Ver-1-0-5-24-kills-WiFi/m-p/2087834#M189479

It has been very helpful, BUT…
My xr700 just bricked at .48 firmware to the permanent white Duma loading screen
Thanks to all your help I have..
1) loaded original .20 firmware via TFTP
2) Logged in via the advanced Htm debug page and enabled TELNET
3) logged in via telnet
4) Did the nvram reset and commit commands

Now I am stuck! Does anyone know the final set of Linux commands to reconfigure the nvram? The other posts for the R9000 don’t work for the AD7200 xr700 nighthawk router.
Thank you

  • Thanks for posting and for including your troubleshooting so far.

How long as the XR700 been in this state?

Could you please try clearing your browsers cache or access the frontend from an incognito window to ensure that it's not simply serving you a cached page.

Do you still have internet access through the XR700?

Thank you but the issue is confirmed as a corrupted nvram issue per the other link in my original post. This was likely caused by a failed firmware update.
Just need the Linux command lines to reconfigure the nvram.

I think once you have reset the NVRAM initiate a reboot via telnet and it should work. Otherwise you'll have to make a ticket directly with Netgear and see if they can provide the relevant commands.
